Matthew Farley, MD, joined the team of allergy and asthma specialists at the Oklahoma Allergy and Asthma Clinic team in 2025, with a passion for helping his patients feel better and enjoy fuller lives. Dr. Farley has a special interest in patients with difficult-to-treat asthma, chronic hives (urticaria), atopic dermatitis (eczema), and chronic cough. Because these conditions can be particularly challenging, he said it is especially rewarding to help patients find answers and relief.

Dr. Farley graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oklahoma State University before attending medical school at the University of Oklahoma, where he graduated with special distinction.

Farley completed his residency at Mayo Clinic Arizona, then worked as a hospitalist there for two years before beginning a two-year fellowship in Allergy and Immunology. He said he was drawn to the field because it is not only intellectually stimulating, but it also allows him to make a tangible and lasting impact on his patients’ lives.

Dr. Farley’s seven years at Mayo helped shape his approach to medicine, especially when it comes to handling complex cases and striving to provide the highest caliber of patient care.

“My best days are the ones when I know I’ve truly made a difference in someone’s quality of life—especially when I’m able to combine evidence-based care with empathy and compassion. I also enjoy the variety of cases and the opportunity to treat patients of all ages,” Farley said.

Originally from Edmond, Oklahoma, Farley enjoys spending time with his wife Ali and son Duke. He also likes to stay active working out, playing golf, exploring new restaurants, traveling when he can, and cheering on his favorite teams – OSU and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
